Logo Redesign, Marketing Materials

The Brief

Dollies is a hair and beauty salon located in a small village near Chesterfield, owned by Holly. Holly wanted a rebrand that felt more fashionable and in tune with current trends. Her existing branding was black and white with heavy embellishments, but she wanted something softer, more modern, and reflective of her personal taste.

The Approach

To create a fresh and contemporary look, I moved away from the dark tones of the existing brand and developed a softer palette of white, pink, and grey.

  • Personal touch: Crafting something unique was very important to Holly, so I hand-drew the brush-lettered Dollies logotype to ensure it felt truly personal.

  • Typography: The hand-drawn script was paired with a classic serif typeface in grey, creating a contrast that feels both modern and timeless.

  • Consistency: The new style was applied across all marketing materials, from appointment cards to social media posts, creating a cohesive and instantly recognisable brand identity.

The Outcome

The result is a modern, clean rebrand that reflects Holly’s taste and vision for Dollies. The hand-crafted logo gives the salon a truly unique identity, while the soft colour palette and carefully designed materials present a professional and stylish image to clients.

Dollies now has a brand that feels current, personal, and aligned with the salon’s friendly, fashionable atmosphere.
